Ivy of the stars

I was in LA recently and decided to go to the Ivy for dinner. It wasn't my choice of restaurants but a friend who reads US Weekly like it's the Bible wanted to go. It's an old school restaurant on N. Robertson in LA that a lot of celebs eat at. We arrived by car service because we wanted to drink and not drive. I was with two white girls who just happen to be attractive: both were tall and skinny. Soon as we got out of the car, there were immediate stares from the patio dining area. I'm guessing people thought I rented these girls out or I was some son of an Asian conglomerate executive. Ahhhhhh LA! So you'd think that it would be posh inside, but when you walk in it's like Aunt Millie's home. It's very homey with a lot of AARP folks dining - many with stretched out botox faces. Sorry folks, no celebs when I was dining there. The food was good and I went for the king: the lobster. That was fulfilling for the night. After 2 bottles of wine and a 3 hr dinner, we retired back to my hotel for a nightcap. ;)
