A funny thing happened while in Myrtle Beach. I crossed paths with a couple of people I know here in NYC and we didn't have any idea that we would be at the same conference. Jewels is a journalist who interviewed me for her magazine years back, and she was down at Myrtle to generate some ideas. I took her and her coworker out to dinner. It's tough finding good food down there; should've gone back to the Cracker Barrel. Another friend who's actually related to my sister's in-laws was also at the same conference. Small world.
