Playoff football! It doesn't get any better than today. It's been about an hour since the end of the Eagles and Giants game and my body has only relaxed half way. The afternoon started with Helsinki and JoJo at Hooters. Let me emphasize that they are both lovely ladies, and they are the one's who suggested watching the Pats/Jets game there. I couldn't think of another place so we watched the game over wings, beer and key lime pie at Hooters. We barely watched the game as the Pats just dominated the Jets in the 2nd half. We instead talked about a myriad of topics and it's been a while since I've caught up with these two. I appreciate their honesty and transparency with me. Additionally, I do think their appreciation for football or their ability to watch football with a man is a very attractive quality. All the ladies I've dated have never liked watching football and it was always an issue in the relationship, especially during autumn. As someone recently told me, he'll sacrifice other things as long as his life can be a little bit easier. Afterwards, I dashed off to Hummer's to watch the Eagles/Giants. The game started with the Giants scoring quickly, and Hummer gave me the look of dread. I said, "Dude, don't worry. It's early." Darko dropped by to remind me of his dinner bet, and as usual, he dissed on the Eagles every time the Giants made a good play. I waved my finger at him like Dikembe and stared him down with the look of an angry black woman and said, "if you can't take it, then don't dish it!" Silence ensued. Watching me watch an Eagles game is a sight to behold as I will clap loudly, bite my nails, sit down, stand up, pump my fist and yell an emphatic "YES!" during 3 hours of game time. In the end, I'm exhausted and elated. Today was very unhealthy for the body as my blood pressure shot up for 3-4 hours watching the game, I ate wings and beer in the afternoon, and I ate McDs for dinner. I think my body took a step back today from the Brad Pitt workout. Bring on the Saints because it's the Eagles who are going to be marching in for the win next Saturday night (8pm EST)in New Orleans. I'll be in LA next weekend. Luckily I know where the only Eagles bar is in LA and I'll be rushing there from golf next Saturday. I leave you this one song... FLY Eagles Fly, on the road to victory, 1-2-3, Fly Eagles Fly .....
