What a long work week. My hands were glued to the computer all week after I returned from LA and it took me all weekend to recover. I slept in two days in a row and it felt awesome. This weekend was pure veg with not much going on and not much to think about. More importantly, the Eagles won again over the Cowboys. As a true Iggles fan, let me chant "Dallas Sucks, Dallas Sucks, Dallas Sucks!" Let me also say that I predicted correctly the last play of the game. We were watching the game at Hummer's place and I said sweet revenge would be the Eagles intercepting a pass and running it for a TD like Roy Williams did last year -- the game that knocked Donovan out for the season. I said this early in the 4th quarter, and what happened but Lito Sheppard intercepted the pass in the Dallas endzone.

Let me share a little football wisdom as to why the Eagles will win the East. After 5 games, they're 4-1 and should be 5-0. In all 5 of their games, they've outplayed their opponents so there were no lucky or shouldn't have won games. Point #1: They're playing very well. Point #2: They lead the entire NFL in offense and points scored without TO on the team. So they're back on track b/c a healthy Donovan McNabb gives the Eagles a chance in any game. A significant factor that will lead to a playoff birth and the NFC East crown is that they happen to have the easiest schedule among the 4 NFC East teams. Other reason is that the other 3 teams are not as good as they think they are. Brunell sucks -- let me remind the skins fan (Hans) that Brunell lead the Skins to 3 points today on 109 yards passing. I believe WR Hank Baskett (who?) of the Eagles had more yards receiving than Brunell had passing today. The skins defense is not as good. The Giants are in disarray with infighting and a young Manning who chucks up interceptions late in games . Plus, they have a brutal schedule and are barely 2-2. Dallas has an overrated O line and I think the Eagles exposed them today with 7 sacks. What people forget is that half the Eagles were on IR last year and the teams that make it to the playoffs are usually healthy.

Fly Eagles Fly, on the road to victory! E-A-G-L-E-S! EAGLES!!!

I admit, I can do without Drew Bledsoe. My 'Boys will be back on top soon enough.
