Unexpectedly, I sang karaoke with a few songs from The Killers, U2 and Coldplay. I showed up at Pravda, a Russian-like bar on Lafayette St. I showed up and no one was there, and apparently, no one bothered to call me that drinks were canceled. It's a rather cool place with an underground bar feel with a very discrete and unremarkable entrance. I hadn't been there for a few years. Anyway, I walked north up Lafayette and remembered how I used to traverse Noho (North of Houston St). There was Serafina, Chinatown Brasserie (which replaced Time Cafe), Butter and Joe's Pub. Later on I met up with AirSuz, Hummer and the Whackster. Instead of drinks, they wanted to sing and drink so I obliged. Not what I expected from tonight, but that's fine because I've got no work tomorrow. Can't wait for Rocky Balboa!
