Quite an interesting Thanksgiving weekend where I crossed paths with people I did not expect to meet. It started Wed night at a dinner with a tall black woman who could've been a model. She does in fact work in fashion so that's close I guess. I was warned by my friend that when she arrived she would be a stunner and indeed, she was quite a statue. I indulged myself in conversation with her which was filled with angst and hope. A bit refreshing to gain a different perspective on life that's not seen through the Korean-American prism. Throughout the weekend were people I don't normally hang out with but somehow they weaved in and out of my weekend. Friday night I found myself @ Time Warner Center's Stone Rose with a lady who kept it real for me. Appreciate it. Next time I'll step it up from the cranberry seltzers I drank all night. The next night was filled with yelling, singing and simple conversations at Turks and Frogs. Unfortunately, Turks didn't serve cranberry seltzers. I got to know a few people I barely knew, but with a twist of lime. I would say it was one of the most inspiring weekends and a great springboard for the coming new year. Many of the words spoken throughout this weekend made me think about many things but more importantly, the result of all this thinking was a simpler life to live.
On a different note, I am anxious and excited to meet Izzy this week because she inspires me.

Hi There. I was flipping through the pages and I started to read your blog. Your daily tidbits are fun and simple. I poured myself a cranberry and 7up as a result, thanks.
Cranberry juice and seltzer (or 7 Up) is the new elixir to sobriety. Thanks for reading.
