Island breezes

What is it about island breezes and the clear blue waters of the Caribbean? I'm staring out into the waters, watching the waves come onto shore and I also hear the sound of the wind hitting the palm trees. You would think I would be mindless and numb, but it gives me pause to think about a lot of things; just not at a NY pace. I think about how old I am and where I've been, what I've done, who I've been with and where I want to go. Do you have the same thoughts? Someone once said to me that when they come to work, they wish they were the person cleaning up the cafeteria because it requires no thinking. It's because work can be so laborious that they want to just for a day, come in and not have to think and just do what's required of them.

When you walk around here, the word "man" (pronounced mon)is said after each phrase: Yah man, no man, thank you man. I've been drinking so much red stripe and rum punch that one of the guests at the house said to me at dinner, "__ you drink a lot." Yeah, I know. I have a problem and it's something I've been trying to fix since I was 14. Can you blame me? They say kids who begin drinking before 21 have a significant chance of becoming alcoholics. I'm living proof. Apparently the rum punch has been good for my game because I gained 2 more strokes on Darko today. I shot a miserable 93 and he a 95: that's a 3 stroke lead going into the final day. If I lose tomorrow, I should just leave my clubs down here and take up a new sport.
