Less means more

For the last few weeks, I've reduced my coke (the soda) intake and have replaced it with cold green tea or bubbly water at work. I have doubled my coffee cups to two in the mornings, which may explain why I can't sleep right now. Well, I think it's because there's a lot weighing my mind down and not so much the coffee. I've dramatically reduced my alcohol consumption and replaced the old gray goose tonics with cranberry seltzers. I've been working out, playing volleyball or playing basketball throughout the week. Finally, I'm feeling the effects of these little changes. Not that I can see the physical changes, but I do feel better physically.

So what I'm trying to say is that there was no resolution or epiphany. Just some small changes are making a big difference, and these changes are what I call "chopping wood." Quite frankly, I have no lofty goals. As part of the 3.0 release, I'm debugging and cleaning up my act. So far so good. Less does mean more.
