When I go to benefits, galas and awards dinners, I find it entertaining because I try to relate to anyone who will speak to me. Sometimes it's challenging because some people are dry as a bone and some are completely unaware that they are not funny. The hardest part is that my cheeks cramp up because of the fake smile and laughs over the course of 2-4 hours. Last night was an easy challenge because I was invited by AirSuz for an awards dinner and it was within an industry I know very well.

The first thing I notice all the time is that I'm the youngest looking guy and usually the only asian guy, but it shouldn't come as a surprise. I always begin with a little liquor to grease up my vocal chords and get the creative wheels churning in my head. Alcohol also helps keep the cheeks upright in that fake smile position. The funniest observation was the waiter who kept hitting on AirSuz. I don't know how many chocolate covered strawberries I could eat because he kept coming over to talk to AirSuz. Thanks to AirSuz for a wonderful but short evening.
