It's been a lot of drinking the last couple of weeks. Well, all of 2006 but it's picked up a good amount the last week. This week I hosted an event at the Hotel Gansevoort and after a long day of smiling, shaking hands and small talk galore, I wrapped up the day doing what I do best but not necessarily enjoy and that is drinking. It's fashion week and this hotel had fashionatas and "hard bodies" everywhere. When I walked into the elevator, there was an asian model having a photo shoot in the elevator, which was bizarre and rather uncomfortable. Since I was at this hotel all day, I befriended a few of the security guards and some other Gansevoort employees. This lead to free drinks for the rest of the night which isn't a good thing. I also blame the drinking on hitting on two asian girls which I found out later both had boyfriends. I gotta stop drinking. I left the hotel at midnight but thankfully my friends came late and joined me in my revelry at the bar. Today I am a waste of space as I write this entry from work.
